We recommend that the following best practices are in place while using Google Meet and other district apps.
- Ensure the device in question has a strong internet/wifi connection
- Close all open browsers/tabs other than the one running the meeting
- Mute mic and camera when not in use.
- Make sure others in the household are not using any video streaming (Netflix,Hulu,etc) or gaming devices (PS4,Xbox,PC,etc).
- Limit the amount of devices accessing the internet during the meetings.
- Contact your internet service provider about poor internet quality, slowness or any additional bandwidth needs.
- Test your internet connection by searching speed test via google and running their app (see image below) to ensure you are getting download speeds higher than 3.4 Mbps
